Young Gift Executives to host charity event during summer 2016 Atlanta Market

The Gift and Home Trade Association [GHTA], the industry’s leading non-profit trade association, will be supporting its 40 and under member group, Young Gift Executives [YGE], and its events this summer. The main event will be Cheers for Charity – Atlanta at the popular SweetWater Brewing Company on Wednesday, July 13 from 6:30–10:30 p.m. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Camp Twin Lakes, a Georgia-based organization that has been offering life-changing camp experiences to children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges for more than 20 years.

All attendees will be treated to a full strolling dinner, souvenir pint glass, brewery beer tastings, margaritas, brewery tours, and a Chavez for Charity Gift for Life bracelet. On top of delicious drinks and charity, the evening will be filled with wonderful people, great music, and ample networking. Additionally, AmericasMart Atlanta will provide complimentary transportation between the Mart and brewery.

To raise money for Camp Twin Lakes, a ticket is necessary for entry, which requires a $100 minimum donation. This event is open to all gift and home industry professionals ages 21 and over; it is not necessary to be a GHTA member to attend. GHTA’s YGE group has also partnered with ART Under 40 and American Lighting Young Executives for the “Beers with Peers” event in Dallas on Thursday, June 23 from 5:30– 7 p.m. This event is presented by the Dallas Market Center and will be held in the D15 Lounge (World Trade Center, 15^th Floor). Attendees will enjoy nationally recognized craft brews from Dallas and Fort Worth. Beers for Peers is for industry professionals 40 and under, and there is no charge to attend.
