Zak Designs Getting Involved with Kids Food Festival

The 2nd Kids Food Festival, in partnership with Cooking Light, gets cooking on November 3rd and 4th, from 10am to 5pm, at Citi Pond℠ at Bryant Park. Join the fight against childhood obesity through fun and flavorful activities to learn about balanced food & lifestyle choices. The festival includes kids cooking classes in the James Beard Foundation Future Foodies Pavilion; food samplings and product demonstrations; live music; a Balanced Plate Scavenger Hunt; giveaways; free admission ice-skating and more! The Kids Food Festival, in partnership with Cooking Light, will donate a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to Food Corps. General admission is FREE, but tickets are required for cooking classes hosted in the James Beard Foundation

Zak Designs is excited about this event, and supports the mission of the Kids Food Festival. As a way to help show how fun and colorful healthy cooking can be, Zak is providing the Kids Food Festival with its signature Confetti bowl sets as part of prize package for winning participants.

“This is a great example of people who are getting involved and putting together a program that is making a real difference in addressing a serious problem in our country, and we’re proud to contribute in some small way to their efforts,” said Irv Zakheim, President and CEO of Zak Designs.

For more information, tickets and the program menu go to www.kidsfoodfestival.com. The Kids Food Festival is presented by The Creative Kitchen™ (www.thecreativekitchen.com). Please contact media@kidsfoodfestival.com with any media inquiries or for interviews with Kids Food Festival Founder and The Creative Kitchen Big Cheese, Cricket Azima.
