Accomplishments
Berick moved from Florida to the big city to study art at New York University. After graduating from NYU, she earned a degree in fashion design from Parsons School of Design. She began working as a designer and transitioned into a fashion stylist. After a vacation abroad with her husband, Michael, in 2006, they were inspired to create a line of totes with a map of their neighborhood of Brooklyn on it and Maptote was born.
