Mesh and pearls, velvet and gold rope add a touch of accessibility and interest to the wardrobe. Jewelry that uses materials found in technology is trending up. Aluminum, titanium, and silver can each create a mesh effect. Picture pearls encased in gold or silver mesh and/or held on with a velvet or grosgrain ribbon.

These design effects can add glamor to pieces that use fewer gems or pearls. Ribbons serve to beautifully lengthen the strand without resorting to use of more expensive materials.
