KidsWorld Offers Buyers Thousands of Products During June Market

Texas – Dallas Market Center, the world’s largest wholesale merchandise resource, announced KidsWorld, a comprehensive 200,000-square-foot marketplace for children’s products on the 8th floor of the World Trade Center, will offer buyers thousands of products during the upcoming Dallas Total Home & Gift Market (June 18 – 24) featuring even more leading manufacturers of gifts, home decor, toys, furniture and related merchandise. The complete floor devoted to products for infants, children, tweens and expectant mothers debuted in January.

KidsWorld Studio, the floor’s shared showroom, is almost 100 percent leased for the upcoming market with several new companies including: Mia Bossi (www.miabossi.com), couture diaper bags that combine fashion and the needs of motherhood; Modest Mommy Nursing Cover (www.modestmommycover.com), chic nursing covers that allow mothers to comfortably breast-feed anywhere; and Pediped (www.pediped.com), infant and toddler footwear designed to be “the next best thing to barefoot.” To celebrate market buyers may join KidsWorld Studio on Friday, June 20 for a Fiesta from 6-8 p.m. including Mexican food, margaritas, beer and a live Mariachi band.

In addition, all KidsWorldF!NDS temporaries will now be located in a larger renovated space adjacent to KidsWorld Studio on the 8th floor. KidsWorldF!NDS has grown to almost 50 booths offering even more products for buyers. New companies to temps include: Lambs & Ivy, Fulanitos, Apple Pie Lighting, Busquets, The Petting Zoo and Kidorables to name a few.

As part of the F!NDS “Groovy Give-A-Way,” 12,000 scratch-off lottery tickets will be distributed on the 8th, 12th, 13th floors and Market Hall during market. Any non-winning tickets can be dropped in a registration box in the KidsWorldF!NDS area for a daily cash drawing beginning on Friday of market (buyers must be present to win).

KidsWorldF!NDS will also host a complimentary brunch Monday through Friday of market at 10 a.m. on the 8th floor atrium. A complete list of special events can be downloaded at Dallas Total Home & Gift Market Special Events.

Each day of market buyers can drop their business card at designated 8th floor KidsWorld locations for a chance to win big. The drawing will be held after market so buyers do not need to be present to win (stop by participating permanent showrooms for details).

Dallas Market Center hosts multiple markets simultaneously in June so that buyers may select from the widest range of product categories: Dallas Total Home & Gift Market (June 18 – 24), Dallas Holiday & Home Expo (June 18 – 24), Dallas Holiday & Home Expo Temporaries (June 19 – 23), Dallas International Lighting Market (June 19 – 22), and the F!NDS Dallas Temp Show (June 20 – 23). New this June is the Dallas Hospitality/Contract Lighting Show (June 23). Attendees may contact the Dallas Market Center’s in-house travel agency, MarketTravel, for substantial travel and hotel discounts by calling 1-800-DAL-MKTS.
