Woodstock Chimes Introduces New Products for Summer 2008
Woodstock Chimes, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of precision-tuned windchimes and premium musical gifts, introduces a stunning lineup of new products for summer 2008. The introductions include additions to several of Woodstock Chimes’ most popular product series – the Woodstock Environments, Gongs, Precious Stones and Artist’s Garden series. The company also unveils its new Woodstock Habitats and the newest instruments in the Woodstock Music Collection.

Woodstock Chimes is recognized for elevating the windchime into an item with musical relevance, using a technique that precisely tunes the company’s windchimes to musical scales. The aluminum tubes on all Woodstock Chimes are precision-tuned using the ancient system of “just intonation,” resulting in pure harmony between musical notes. Since each Woodstock Chime tube is tuned individually, tube lengths of identical notes may vary slightly, but the pitch is always perfect making the chimes a heavenly addition to any atmosphere.
Additions to Existing Series
One of the latest additions to Woodstock Gongs is the Woodstock Healing Gong.
“The ever-growing popularity of the home and garden gongs continues to fuel our pursuit of new fashion-forward designs,” says Kvistad. The Healing Gong is handcrafted using traditional methods, bringing the ancient wonders of the Far East home. The Healing Gong’s elegant look is pronounced by its bold cherry and black finish ash wood. This hanging wind gong is 30-inches long and 15-inches wide with a 10-inch bronze gong.
Woodstock Chimes also adds a new freestanding gong to its collection for 2008, the Torii Garden Gong. This beautiful 20-inch bronze gong features walnut finish ash wood and black powder-coated aluminum spacers and steel frame. It stands an impressive 43-inches high and measures 37-inches wide.
Adding a charitable dimension to the Precious Stones Series is the Chimes of Hope. Three silver tubes, accompanied by genuine stones and a pink powder-coated steel “ribbon,” hang delicately from black finish wood. The chime measures 30-inches long and retails for $30. A portion of the proceeds from this chime will be donated to organizations committed to the fight against Breast Cancer.
Another new item in the Precious Stones Series is the Chimes of Santa Fe. This idyllic chime incorporates amber-colored stones, four bronze tubes, walnut finish wood and copper to evoke the colors and flavor of this wonderful locale. This chime hangs 26-inches long.
The Artist’s Garden Series welcomes the patriotic sounds of the America the Beautiful Chime. Featuring the favorite classic “America, the Beautiful”, this new chime captures the grandeur of the American landscape and spirit of its people. Its satin silver anodized aluminum tubes are accented with blue wash finished wood and measures 24-inches in length.
Woodstock Chimes’ Newest Series – Woodstock Habitats
Woodstock Chimes revitalizes its Woodstock Castings line with a new name and three new chimes. The new Woodstock Habitats offers customers a selection of decorative chimes made in verdigris finished cast metal with three new additions: Hummingbird Spiral, Grapes Spiral and Butterfly Spiral. These chimes are adorned with cast aluminum grape bunches, hummingbirds and butterflies. The Hummingbird Spiral and Butterfly Spiral both hang from cherry finish wood accents, while the Grapes Spiral chime hangs from burgundy wash finish wood. The Hummingbird Spiral and Grapes Spiral are both 18-inches long and the Butterfly Spiral measures 19-inches long.
Additions to Woodstock’s Popular Music Collection
Woodstock Chimes also introduces their latest addition to the Woodstock Music Collection, three items from the Remo Kid’s Percussion Collection; the Kid’s Bongo, Kid’s Floor Tom and Kid’s Konga. Designed to withstand the most vigorous activity, these drums sport a fun, colorful rainforest pattern that appeals to kids of all ages.
