Andrea Ceasar’s stationery and gift business hasn’t just survived the era of Evite and e-mail — it has thrived.

This September, she’s celebrating her one-year anniversary at her spacious storefront. It’s more than twice the size of her previous Englewood location, and much more roomy than her work space at home, where she worked for more than a decade.

A quick look around her store shows why she needed the space.

Ceasar has more than 250 oversized books full of sample invitations and announcements on shelves alongside large tables, so that customers can easily flip through multiple books at a time.

Such a variety of options is necessary, she says, because “people want their invitations to look like no one else’s.”
