Artisan studio to Host Champagne, Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Las Vegas Launch

Burbank, CA — As a special champagne and ribbon-cutting ceremony honors the Las Vegas grand opening of artisan studio Collection Monday, July 28, at 2 p.m., the company will prove the adage that “Good things come to those who wait.” And to those who pick the optimal moment to respond to marketplace demand for contemporary, trendy and transitional metal art sculptures with consumer-friendly price tags.

For nearly three years, artisan studio Collection – a leading designer and crafter of stylish, high-quality and affordable multi-dimensional metal sculptures – has been in the planning stages of developing a line that would be ideal for large furniture retailers, as well as art and department stores, says John Shilling, president of Artisan House and its new artisan studio Collection.

“No other company has made much of an inroad into creating stylish but affordable metal art sculptures,” he adds. “We decided it was time to fill that gap by debuting a collection of ‘wow’ pieces that look fantastic in home and office spaces yet don’t break the decorating budget.”

Shilling will officiate at the firm’s Las Vegas Market ceremony and reception, to be held from 2-2:45 p.m. During the ceremony, a specially-designed, decorative handcrafted metal “ribbon” will be presented to Shilling, unrolled and cut with a pair of metal shears. artisan studio Collection will initially offer more than 45 original, copyrighted wall and tabletop metal sculptures that are inspired by nature’s beauty, exude cool or warm tones, or are reminiscent of relaxing or entertaining activities.

“We intend to make impressive new inroads into a previously under served marketplace with this fabulous variety of designs,” Shilling says.

All pieces are made by hand of cold-rolled steel, hand welded and hand finished with exclusive techniques developed in the firm’s California design studio.

The unlimited style and exceptional quality that are the hallmarks of artisan studio Collection will be showcased in nature-scaped, flower-power pieces including “Dandelion,” “Poppy Flower” and “Bird of Paradise.” Warm and cool color palettes will be exhibited in sculptures like “Aesthetic” and “Starburst,” while leisure time will be celebrated with the introduction of the high-flying, abstract “Kite.”

Orders for artisan studio Collection products are processed on the day of receipt, while complete customer satisfaction is provided by an outstanding customer service department. The firm offers special discounts on container orders; however, the company’s U.S. warehouse can ship items next day to customers with immediate needs.

Established in 2008 as a division of Artisan House, artisan studio exhibits at trade shows in the United States and abroad. The firm’s metal sculptures are sold in furniture, art and department stores. artisan studio Collection pieces will also be shown at the October High Point Market at the IHFC Building, Pavilions on 3, P302.
