This first-of-its kind couple’s journal is used to document events and memories through the first ten years of marriage, yet, it is so much more than just a keepsake book!

The concept for Wedded Bliss, The First Ten was born when Gabriela Cardenal was seeking the perfect gift for her husband on their one year anniversary.
“The first year of marriage is the most exciting, but in many ways, it can also prove the most challenging,” states Cardenal. “I wanted to capture on paper the experiences of that trying year, both good and bad, and what we both learned in the process about each other and about our relationship.”
In fact, the primary objective behind producing this book stems from the most valuable lesson they learned that first year: Nothing helps you develop a positive attitude more than showing gratitude. For this reason, couples are encouraged to regularly count their blessings in the hopes that these will serve as reminders of why they married in the first place. Wedded Bliss, The First Ten was thoughtfully created to help couples direct their viewpoints to ease navigation through marriage, and along the way, make the voyage more enjoyable.
The very unique design of Wedded Bliss, The First Ten allows for customization of each individual book despite the fact that each relationship develops differently over time. The beautifully crafted 11″ x 11″ cloth-lined binder contains pages for boys, girls, pets, new homes and vacations. Because the rings on the binder can be opened and closed, the couple can place the completed page (along with photo) in the appropriate year. Gabriela Cardenal has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Georgetown University and an MBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Miami. In 2000 she opened Gemelli Designs, a jewelry design company. Her designs were featured in several local papers and magazines, as well as local TV shows on CBS, Univision and Telemiami.
Six years later, Gabriela was ready for a change from the manually intensive production process, when she was struck by the inspiration for Wedded Bliss, The First Ten.
