MyWares.com emerges to uniquely connect retailers and independent designers

Atlanta, Ga. — Two veteran national gift market participants – one a vendor and one a buyer – have launched MyWares.com, a new concept in on-line wholesale product showcasing and buying.

“We were frustrated with the fact Trade shows are sporadic and the Web is so large. We needed one spot for Wholesale Buyers and Sellers to connect all year long,” said Stephanie Cartwright, MyWares.com co-founder and Watkinsville resident. “Now vendors like me can up-load product images and wholesale catalogs and know that visitors to their pages are the target market they need to reach all year long.”

MyWares.com benefits the independent retailer and the wholesale vendor by filling a void in the wholesale marketplace. Independent, women-owned businesses – selling everything from apparel to green goods — are able to easily and affordably showcase their products to a wide range of wholesale buyers. Retailers can search out a wide selection of quality and unique goods quickly, easily and at zero cost.

How MyWares.com works:
Women-owned companies with high-quality gift, fashion, and home decor products apply to become featured sellers on MyWares.com. Free or paid premium membership is available for as little as $16 a month.

Independent retailers are given free access to product listings, wholesale catalogs, media kits and contact information. Unlike gift shows and merchandise markets, MyWares.com is open seven days a week, 24-hours a day. MyWares receives no commissions.

MyWares.com also is adding a free Business Resource registry for service providers such as sales reps, public relations professionals, and artists whose work can compliment and assist both retailers and vendors.

“There is a need in the wholesale industry for each of these three groups – the independent retailer, the independent manufacturer and the independent service provider to reach each other efficiently,” said MyWares co-founder Sandra Began of Appleton. “MyWares.com does that.”

MyWares.com currently showcases more than 400 vendors in 33 categories, selling everything from hand-made jewelry to organic skincare to pet novelties in a large variety of price points. MyWares.com is a boon for the enormous number of small and independent women business owners looking for a chance to be seen in the marketplace.

About MyWares.com founders:
Co-founders Stephanie Cartwright and Sandra Began used their extensive experience in the wholesale marketplace, as sellers and buyers, to create MyWares.com.

Began, owner of Sandra Began Holiday (www.sandrabegan.com), designs fresh, hand-made holiday wreaths, swags, garland and boughs. Her work is licensed and sold across the country. Began and her family live in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The two business women met with Began purchased Cartwright’s Bread and Budder Buckets (www.breadandbudder.com). The fabric-wrapped buckets are sold on-line and in stores across the country. Bread and Budder buckets have been featured in publications such as Cottage Living, Traditional Home and Better Homes and Gardens. Cartwright and her family live in Watkinsville, Ga.
