GHTA Offers Free Trial Membership to Conference Attendees
(Grand Rapids, Mich.) – The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA), the industry’s non-profit professional trade association, is pleased to offer a free trial membership, good through the end of 2008, to vendors, sales agencies, and industry affiliates who plan to attend its 6th Annual Conference on November 20-22, 2008, in Sanibel Island, Florida.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for non-members in our industry to get to know our association, our initiatives and our goals,” said George Kacic, president of the Gift and Home Trade Association. “We trust that each attendee will be impressed by the GHTA, its mission and its members, as well as by the conference — its keynote speakers, activities, educational breakout sessions and more.”
The conference provides educational and networking opportunities for all members of the gift and home industry. It is an information-packed event that serves as an ideal platform for vendors and sales representatives to learn more about changing industry trends and how to overcome them. Additionally, the GHTA has secured Terry Jones, the founder of Travelocity.com, as this year’s keynote speaker. Jones will address how companies might prosper in the age of globalization and the internet, which encompasses this year’s theme.
The GHTA and its members are dedicated to ensuring the long-term health and profitability of the gift and home industry. As a member of the GHTA, individuals and companies receive a variety of membership benefits including strong networking opportunities at GHTA supported events, access to industry resources and statistics, and discounts on consulting services, industry publications and more. Additionally, members receive a monthly e-newsletter detailing the latest news surrounding the GHTA and e-Clips, a regular synopsis of industry trends.
