Shop for Christmas at Pam’s Flowers & Gifts
Nixon — The list of gift ideas is endless for those seeking that perfect Christmas gift at Pam’s Flowers & Gifts.
Owner Pam Wilson has always wanted to own a floral and gift shop. After working for a bank for 22 years, she had that opportunity. What started as a hobby working with arts and crafts became Pam’s Flowers & Gifts in 2001. Although it originally began as a floral shop, it soon expanded into a gift shop, with bigger and better things, Pam said.
As customers visit the diversified shop, they’ll find a wide selection of fresh flowers, silk flowers, and potted plants available for any occasion.
Pam’s staff includes four full-time employees. Michele Perez is the store manager and also is the head floral designer. She is joined by designers Nancy Cisneros, Leticia DeLeon, and Eva Warren. Caroline Calley works part time.
The selection of gift ideas is vast, ranging from crosses and angel collections to a baby-gift line, garden art, wind chimes, and stained glass. The gift shop also includes Western décor and items for interior decorating to make any room complete.
Just in time for Christmas, Pam’s offers a display of collegiate and sports items to decorate that perfect tree, ranging from the Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies to the Cowboys and Spurs.
Pam’s prices are comparable to other retail stores, with items priced to fit everyone’s budget.
For candle lovers, Pam offers WoodWick brand candles. This candle, when lighted, sounds like a crackling fire. She offers other brands of candles, also.
