7 W New York Chosen as NY Headquarters for Patina
New York, NY – On December 9, 7 W New York will proudly welcome PATINA-V, purveyors of sophisticated shop concepts, to the building’s showroom roster. The launch of this more than 4000 sq foot showroom in Suite 717, represents an exciting new direction for the already diverse wholesale market building and will coincide with the NADI Retail Design Collective, taking place December 9-11. NADI is the visual merchandising division of the Florida-based ARE (Association for Retail Environments), a non-profit trade association representing the retail environment industry with over 800 member companies. Offering retailers an exclusive collection of the world’s best retail design and visual resources, PATINA-V’s debut is bound to create a stir among those in this industry.
According to Chris Collins, vice president and general manager, 7 W New York, “PATINA-V is a leader in the mannequin and display industry. Their entrepreneurial spirit and aggressive sales and marketing approach is consistent with that of 7 W which will make this an exciting partnership.”
PATINA-V specializes in mannequins, forms, decoratives, fixtures, shop concepts and licensing. Founded in 1987, PATINA-V mannequins are known for their distinctive look and flair that appeal to retailers and consumers alike. Stylish and fashion-forward, their mannequins reflect the latest trends and are ideal for retailers interested in displaying merchandise both practically and beautifully. They continually add to their product catalogue, thereby assuring that their merchandise remains fresh and exciting.
“It’s great to be back in the city and in a venue that affords PATINA-V the opportunity to showcase its multifaceted product line,” says Norman Glazer, President and CEO of PATINA-V. “Having a permanent showroom in New York is a luxury that few companies can afford in this day and age. With the visual industry now only producing one trade show a year in New York City, it was not cost effective for us to have a permanent showroom again until now. 7 W provides us the ability to participate in the December NADI market as well as introducing our numerous products to additional market places such as the Gift Show, Tabletop Market and Licensing Show.”
At the NADI show, PATINA-V will show DURA-FLEX/GREEN, an environmentally-friendly urethane rolocasting system. The resin formula is naturally fire-retardant and offers excellent strength, durability and appearance. Products manufactured from DURA-FLEX/GREEN are available exclusively from PATINA-V worldwide.
Under the direction of George Martin, VP, Design and Presentation, the new showroom will undergo frequent product transformations to complement the numerous markets taking place throughout the year at 7 W. With this new and exciting addition, it won’t be a surprise to see clothing retailers shopping the halls of 7 West New York for the first time ever.
