Woodstock Chimes’® New Product Debuts Offer Inspiration

Shokan, N.Y. — Woodstock Chimes, a leading manufacturer of precision-tuned windchimes, will unveil several new products at the 2010 winter shows, including an array of inspirational products. Woodstock Reflections™, one of the company’s new series designed to inspire is comprised of eleven products, which includes the Motivation Chimes featuring detailed feathers with laser-engraved quotes of encouragement from some of the most respected individuals in the world. Additionally, Woodstock Chimes will further expand its Signature Collection with two turquoise-accented inspirational pieces.

“The mission with all of our inspirational pieces is to help encourage and provide a sense of peace for one’s self,” says Woodstock CEO Garry Kvistad. “Customers are not only able to enjoy the chimes as home and garden accents, but the gentle sounds are reminders of the chimes’ inspirational meanings.”

The Woodstock Reflections includes four Meditation Chimes (39 inches), two Gazing Ball Chimes (40.5 and 19 inches), one Memorial Chime (36.5 inches), and four Motivation Chimes (25.5 inches). Each Motivation Chime features five aluminum tubes and a different laser-engraved motivational quote on each feather. The well-known quotes are as follows:

* Growth: “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be” – Lao Tzu, a philosopher of ancient China and a central figure in Taoism.
* Happiness: “Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony” – Mahatma Gandhi, the political and spiritual lead of India during the Indian independence movement and pioneer of nonviolent civil disobedience.
* Change: “The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it and enjoy the dance” – Alan Watts, a British philosopher who wrote extensively on the meaning of life and the pursuit of happiness.
* Courage: “Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has courage to lose sight of the shore” – André Gide, French author and winner of the Nobel Prize in literature whose work centered on being fully oneself and not betraying one’s values.

All four chimes are made of rich North American cherry wood, feature five silver tubes and are tuned to an ancient five-note pentatonic scale, providing a rich, calming sound. The chimes measure 25.5 inches in length and retail for $44.00.

Additionally, Woodstock Chimes will introduce an expansion to its Signature Collection, the Woodstock Inspiration Chime – Turquoise and the Woodstock Inspiration Bell – Turquoise both make wonderful gift for someone special, or for oneself. The Inspirational Chime’s hematite clapper and reconstituted turquoise cross make this small chime stand out in the crowd. Featuring a black satin finish ash wood, four silver polished aluminum rods and genuine stone accents; the chime measures 11.75 inches from hanging loop to the bottom of the windcatcher and retails for $10.00.

The Inspirational Bell features three cascading silver bells that provide gentle soothing tones to encourage relaxation and introspection with small bead accents and a reconstituted turquoise cross windcatcher. This bell features three bright nickel-plated steel bells, wood and resin beads, genuine stone accents and measures 22.5 inches from hanging loop to the bottom of the windcatcher. Inspired by ancient Chinese bells, but with a modern twist, this bell is a perfect complement to any décor that retails for $30.00.
