High Real Estate Group announces that construction of Mill Creek Square in Lancaster (East Lampeter Township), PA is underway
Mill Creek Square, an approximately $40-million, 285,000-square-foot community shopping center, is being developed on a 35-acre site situated along the established commercial corridor of Lincoln Highway East (US Route 30-ADT-41,000) in Lancaster (East Lampeter Township), Pa.

Phase I of Mill Creek Square is 82% leased and anchored by an 87,000-square-foot Kohl’s, a 42,750-square-foot Bed, Bath & Beyond, a 34,500-square-foot Christmas Tree Shops and a 25,000-square-foot Ross Dress for Less. Negotiations are pending with a major and for the restaurant out parcel for Phase I, and with two majors for Phase II. The balance of the shopping center offers approximately 58,000 square feet of space for additional majors, small shops and restaurants, and a bank out parcel or retail pod.
Construction and completion schedule
Construction of Mill Creek Square began in September of 2009 with completion and the grand opening of Phase I in October 2010. Phase II is anticipated to open as early as May 2011.

High Real Estate Group is the co-developer (with CBL & Associates Properties, Inc.) of High Pointe Commons in Harrisburg, Pa. and York Town Center in York, Pa. High Associates Ltd. is the managing agent for Mill Creek Square. Additional High Real Estate Group LLC affiliates Greenfield Architects Ltd. and High Construction Company are providing the project’s design and construction. Financing has been provided by Integrity Bank.
