HABA Picks Up Five Creative Child Awards
Skaneateles, NY – Oh baby! With hundreds of companies vying for the baby and infant market, there’s one tried-and-true company that consistently wows toy industry judges with their luscious colors, materials and multiple play value. If you have a baby, then you must have HABA. Five of their newest products received top honors in the annual Creative Child Magazine’s Toy Awards — including two 2010 Toy of the Year awards.
A team of 100 real-mom-judges selected HABA’s Zoolino Stacking Toy as the Toy of the Year in the Wooden Stacking Toys for Babies & Toddlers category. HABA’s Fabric Ball Rainbow also took home the Toy of the Year title in the Baby Soft Toys category. HABA’s Dangling Animal Sheep won a Preferred Choice Award in the Plush baby Toys category as did their Biofino Fish in the Creative Play category. HABA’s colorful Clutching Toy Lirum was awarded a Seal of Excellence in the Baby Toys category.
To win honors at Creative Child’s Toy Awards, products are thoughtfully reviewed by the very folks who buy them – moms, educators and caregivers. Only one product per category can win a Toy of the Year award. The remaining finalists receive a prestigious Preferred Choice award. The Seal of Excellence is another prominent award that’s given to those products that are not finalists but exceed expectations based on the criteria for nurturing creativity and education in children.
