Small Businesses Get Needed Guidance At Diversity Center
Sometimes small businesses just need a little guidance and the right connections to grow.
Entrepreneur Eduardo Castillo wants the recently created Arizona Diversity Business Center to be one place they can get the help they need.
The not-for-profit center, incorporated in March 2010, is designed to partner companies with business opportunities and keep jobs in Arizona.
“The purpose of the center is to assist qualified small businesses to identify, win and complete federal, state and local government contracts and or subcontract with prime federal contractors,” Castillo said.
The organization has about 20 members and offers them a range of services, including strategic planning, sales and marketing, lead generation, proposal writing, contract negotiations, securing project financing, contract execution and business retention.
