Tastement™ Launches Greeting Cards Inspired By The New York City Subway

Tastement™, a design boutique based in Manhattan, launches a line of subway themed greeting cards inspired by the graphics, maps and most importantly the people of New York City. Seema Malik, the lead designer is a bonafide New Yorker and takes great pride in being a part of this metropolis.

“This line represents an unprecedented and creative interpretation of the iconic subway system of New York. It provides a fresh and interesting perspective on one of the oldest and most extensive public transportation systems in the world,” said Seema Malik, CEO and Creative Director, Tastement LLC. Cards include a “C” for “Congratulations,” “D” for “Dad,” “E” for “Ever After” (as in a wedding), “F” for “Friend” and an “R” for “Rules of Engagement.”, among others. The interior of the cards show a route map with innovative stops. The “B” for “Baby Boy Arrives!” states inside “9 stops to Parenthood!” and goes on to depict stops such as Love, Kindness, Patience, Trust, Heartache, Pride, Commitment, Faith and ends with Joy. In effect, this card captures the journey and the ups and downs of parenting. This is one of many cards in this line which have been officially licensed by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) of New York.

The new line of cards is currently on sale on the Tastement™ website and will officially debut at the National Stationery Show in New York. The show will be held at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center starting May 15th through May 18th, 2011. Tastement™ will be at booth no. 1054.
