While it’s great to have the time to make your own leis, sometimes you don’t have the time or supplies to make enough of these traditional gifts with the graduation season in full bloom.

But don’t fret as a number of businesses on island can assist with your graduation needs.

Lisa Mendiola, of Flowers by Tand in Tumon, says the shop is usually very busy from April to June because of graduations and confirmations. The shop, like many other florists, carry a variety of unique leis made from real flowers. But with the graduation boom, it’s usually best to plan ahead.

“Right now, it’s best to call in advance by at least a day, because we do have a lot of graduations (on island) and a lot of customers looking to make purchases,” she says.
