Road Runners LLC Continues Dramatic Expansion; Launches New England Division

Road Runners LLC announces its expansion into the New England market with 11 new territories in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine, as well as parts of Upstate New York. Road Runners has practically doubled operations again, just two years after a triumphant entry into the South East and AmericasMart. Ten of the 11 New England markets will be covered by former reps of Krikorian Miller Associates, which closed May 20 after 34 years.

Many of the New England reps bring their long-term manufacturer relationships with them to Road Runners. Known industry-wide for consistent coverage and stellar customer service, Road Runners will ensure seamless transitions for all retailers and manufacturers. Product lines include Sterling Publishing, MOMA, Room It Up, Independent Publishers Group, International Arrivals, House of Marbles and Meri Meri.

The industry enthusiastically welcomes Road Runners into New England. House of Marbles Sales Manager Alan Romano recently remarked, “I am excited to announce our new partnership with Road Runners’ New England Division. New England has historically been our strongest geographic market, and I have no doubt that Road Runners will service this area with impeccable professionalism and integrity.”

Fred Schmidt, Director of Sales for Room It Up agrees: “Room It Up is excited to partner with this energetic group as they continue to expand their reach into the Northeast.”

Road Runners began over 13 years ago with territory in metro New York/New Jersey. In 2009 they formed a South East division consisting of Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina. With the addition of the New England division, Road Runners now operates in 16 states along the eastern seaboard. Principals Noel Weintraub and Richard Gilbert have over 50 years combined experience in the gift industry. Their vast knowledge of the marketplace, emphasis on rep training and follow-through are the foundation of their growth and success.
