Ft. Harrison Gift Shop Helps Vets With Christmas Shopping
Ft. Harrison, MT – Over the past two days, the Fort Harrison Veteran’s Affairs Hospital has offered a service to help vets with Christmas shopping.
Gerome Weinand, a Korean War Veteran, says, “I don’t get anything unless it’s got pockets”.
Pockets or no pockets, there was plenty of clothes and other items for vets to choose from at the Fort Harrison VA Hospital.
Sandy Runkel, Fort Harrison Gift Shop Chairwoman, says, “It’s a great kickoff for the holiday season. It makes me feel good that I’m able to give back to the veterans for their service that they’ve done for us.”
