Goshen ‘Shop Local’ Campaign Becomes Big HitBy Ed ErnstesWSBT.com

Goshen, IN – A number of area communities have encouraged folks to shop locally this holiday season. The goal is to bring more business to mom and pop stores.

Goshen, for instance, has even opened downtown stores on Sundays for the last three weekends. Shops there are noticing a difference for the better.

For the last couple of years, Amber Hart has made it a point to do her holiday shopping downtown whether at Jules Boutique or across the street at Woldruff’s Shoes.

“Shopping local for me has become a large priority just based on the fact that I love that Jules is here,” said Hart. “I love that Woldruffs is across the street and it is important to me that they stay here.”
