Blanche’s Gifts Opens in ChickasawBy Jo Anne McKnightBlog.AL.com

Chickasaw, AL – Teresa Goolsby and her daughter, Shannon Griffin, have opened Blanche’s Gifts, a one-stop gift shop, on West Lee Street.

The small, bright yellow 1950s-era shop offers customers an opportunity to purchase everything from baby items to doggie treats. A few antiques and collectibles are also available.

Goolsby named the shop for her mother, Blanche Robinson, who is legally blind, but has always loved to sew and make crafts. “My grandmother, too, crocheted and did other needlecrafts, so featuring a lot of handmade items is like carrying on a family tradition,” Goolsby said.
