New Shop, Purple Frog, Opens on Bailey Avenue in RidgefieldBy Terri GarlickHamletHub.com

Ridgefield, CT – Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Purple Frog, the newest addition to Bailey Avenue, and a treat to the senses! The white walls and cabinets along with a few touches of deeper, richer hardwood allow the merchandise shine… and that it does. There are so many unique, fun and even practical items, at affordable price points, that this will become a “go-to” when shopping in Ridgefield.

Originally, the concept for Purple Frog was to offer only locally-sourced merchandise, but some tempting goods from the West Coast, Europe, and even Africa, changed owner, Emma Hardiman’s mind. You’ll find something for just about everyone, at every stage of life… newborns, tweens and teens, graduates moms, dads, teachers, friends, hosts and hostesses, but what you might not be able to find is toys for kids 2 to 10. “We already have such a marvelous toy store (The Toy Chest) in Ridgefield that I didn’t think I could, or should, compete, ” believes Emma.
