Miss America and Tutu Couture Announce New Children’s Apparel
Miss America Properties, the New York City–based licensing and branding partner to the Miss America Organization, announced today the launch of a collection of children’s apparel and accessories from Tutu Couture.
The line’s new shirts and tutu pettiskirts will debut for sale at the upcoming 2014 Miss America Competition, Sunday, September 15, 2013. “The tees feature fun, classy takes on famous sayings and themes of the Miss America program,” said Amanda Whitney. “The tutu skirts offer the high-end dress-up designs that Tutu Couture is famous for, made for the little Miss America in your life.”
Designs include “If the Crown Fits,” “There She Is,” and “Future Miss America.”
“Dance, ballet and classical performance have always been part of the iconic history behind the Miss America Organization,” said Cory M. Baker, Managing Director of Miss America Properties. “As young girls continue to watch and be inspired by the impressive women of Miss America, they can now feel part of the fun in the new dance collection of tutus, leggings, tops, and shirts. We’re thrilled to be working with the leaders of this category at Tutu Couture.”
As with all Miss America® licensed products, a portion of sales proceeds will help support the Miss America Organization as the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance to young women.
