This Saturday, Nov. 30, is Small Business Saturday. While you’re doing your holiday shopping, I encourage you to shop locally as much as possible to support the small businesses in our area.

When you shop locally, you are investing in your community. Local businesses provide a wide array of products and services we want and need in our community. Making those products and offering those services creates local jobs. Businesses purchase supplies and services from other businesses and create even more jobs.

When employees of local small businesses spend their paychecks on products and services in our community, they’re helping to create even more jobs. For the economic health of our community, it’s vitally important that we all shop and do business locally.
