Crossville Dog Treat Business Helps teach Job Skills to Special Needs Adults
Crossville, TN – People usually start businesses to make money, but sometimes the effort is about much more than just the cash. Lois Davis started Joshua’s Pet Treat Bakery six years ago for a very special reason: her son.
We caught workers busy rolling out the dough for their next batch of boutique biscuits. Their oven has produced flavors from bacon to strawberry.
“Ninety-eight percent of dogs love our biscuits. You always get the two percent whose mamas give them real chicken so they’re not going to eat ours,” said Lois Davis, with a laugh.
