Main Street Business on the Upswing as More are Shopping Local
Bradford, PA – Downtown Bradford no longer fits the stereotype of a decaying Main Street America.
Shopping local is on the upswing, said Anita Dolan, the Main Street program manager of Bradford’s Office of Economic and Community Development. Main Street has fewer empty storefronts, more new businesses and many stores are undergoing building improvements.
“I think the quality of businesses is much better,” Dolan said.
