Crafty New Business Opens in ‘BurgBy Joseph PrattPortsmouth-DailyTimes.com

Wheelersburg, OH – Porter Township residents Kim and Keith Hammond recently opened a business called the Hammond Treasure Chest in Wheelersburg, where they rent space to consigners who deal in crafty home décor, jewelry, sugary sweets, and more.

The Hammonds had several vendor fairs and after enough people began asking if they had their own shop, decided the demand was there to open a location.

The business is located at 1106 Gallia Pike, which used to be Note Worthy Studies. The doors to all offices have been removed and the location has been renovated into a space where themed rooms take over, such as Christmas decorations, edibles, man cave items, and more.
