Reps Are Local Too launches Love My Vendors Week
Reps Are Local Too introduced the first-ever Love My Vendors Week, taking place May 4-10. This new initiative is designed to recognize and celebrate the vendors who power the gift and home industry and play a critical role in supporting retailers and sales representatives every day.
Following the strong response to Love My Retailers Week, this next chapter in the “Share the Love” campaign turns the spotlight toward vendors. The week creates a unified moment across the industry for reps and retailers alike to express appreciation, strengthen relationships, and highlight the impact vendors have on their businesses.
Vendors are the driving force behind every line package. Their products fuel sales, bring creativity to the marketplace, and help retailers connect with their customers in meaningful ways. Love My Vendors Week provides a dedicated time to acknowledge that contribution in a visible and collective way.
“This initiative was created to give our industry a simple, powerful way to connect,” said Angela Schmook, co-founder of Reps Are Local Too. “When vendors hear from multiple reps and retailers across the country in the same week, it creates a meaningful moment that reinforces how valued they are.”
While the campaign is rooted in the rep community, retailers are encouraged to take part as well. By joining in, retailers can amplify the message and deepen their relationships with the brands they carry, creating a broader industry-wide impact.
Participants are encouraged to reach out to vendors throughout the week through emails, phone calls, social media posts and in-store recognition. Campaign collateral and graphics will be provided to support consistent messaging and make participation easy.
Love My Vendors Week is part of the Reps Are Local Too “Share the Love” calendar, an ongoing series of initiatives designed to strengthen connections across the industry and highlight the importance of collaboration between reps, retailers and vendors.
