Granite Falls, MN – After years of operating by word of mouth, Orphans From the Attic, a passion project-turned furniture business, has now opened just off downtown Granite Falls.

Tanya Hunter, creator and owner, had been operating out of her home in Wood Lake, selling refinished furniture through Facebook or relying on word of mouth from repeat customers.

“Now my kids are out of the house and I’m bored, so I’ve got all the time in the world now,” Hunter said. “I’m pretty much here always. Today is my day off and I’m here. It is better than sitting at home.”
