Small Business Saturday to Offer Holiday Boost
Murfreesboro, TN – Eager shoppers will venture out this weekend in search of deals for the gifts on their Christmas lists and locally owned businesses are eager to offer their wares on Small Business Saturday.
Set for Nov. 29, Small Business Saturday is fast becoming a holiday tradition, and Murfreesboro’s downtown merchants are hoping to make it an event this year.
“What people need to understand is: This country was built on backs of independent businesses,” said Kathleen Herzog, director of Main Street Murfreesboro, a nonprofit committed to maintaining and promoting downtown.
