Grant City Shop Owner Sells ‘Recycled Treasures’ at Vintiqued
Staten Island, NY – Maria Melis fondly remembers a childhood centered around traveling to yard sales with her grandmother to purchase one-of-a-kind finds.
“I would collect what I like to call ‘recycled treasures.’ I love the old world; some say I have an old soul,” said Ms. Melis, who has been a paramedic for the last 16 years.
So when Ms. Melis and her husband, Tom Soto, were renovating their nearly century-old home, she naturally wanted it to have character and a vintage look.
