National Retail Federation announces new additions to board of directors
The NRF Foundation announced today the addition of four new executives to its Board of Directors, including a human resources executive with The Home Depot and the retail and consumer lead for PwC. The election took place during NRF’s 105th Annual Convention and EXPO in New York City on Friday, and each elected official will serve a two-year term.
Mindy Grossman, CEO of HSNi, will continued to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for a one-year term.
“These distinguished additions to the NRF Foundation Board add even more weight to an already diverse list of talented executives who have a true desire to support and foster the growth of the next generation of retail talent,” said NRF Senior Vice President and NRF Foundation Executive Director Ellen Davis.
“We are all also incredibly excited and honored that Mindy will lead the charge for another year,” Davis said. “Mindy’s leadership will continue to inspire the Foundation and the community of students, veterans and retail professionals with whom we work as we strive to shape the future of retail.”
New Board members include:
- Steve Barr, U.S. retail and consumer leader, PwC
- Deb Decker, chief client officer, Alliance Data
- Danielle DiFerdinando, founder and creative director, Danielle Nicole
- Arlette Guthrie, vice president, human resources, The Home Depot
