Dallas Market Center hosts more than three hundred interior designers for Dine + Design

Dallas Market Center hosted Dine + Design’s semi-annual education and networking luncheon for the interior design community on April 5. More than 300 interior designers attended the event from Texas and surrounding states.

Held in an inspiring new space on the sixth floor of the World Trade Center, the Dine + Design luncheon brought together interior designers to discuss the latest color trend, white, and the color’s impact on design with a CEU accredited course led by Ashlynn Barton Bourque of Sherwin Williams.

“As the Dallas community continues to grow, so will the need for interior designers and design products,” Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, said. “Designers know they can come to the Market Center on a daily basis to purchase those one-of-a-kind products they need. We want to help support the ever-growing design community in Dallas, and learning opportunities like Dine + Design are extremely beneficial to designer’s professional growth.”

With over nine years of experience working with the design community, Ashlynn Barton Bourque continues to support designers with her educational color reports. Bourque presented an insightful presentation on the color white which included color history, design practices and inspiration.

“It was truly a privilege and a pleasure to be a part of Dine + Design,” Ashlynn Barton Bourque, designer account executive for Sherwin Williams, said. “Dallas Market Center is an extraordinary example of a marketplace that is dedicated to serving the design community with their ever-present design events and open-daily showrooms.”

True to design style, the event was presented in all white including displays, tabletops and served lunch. Guests of the event also dressed in white attire.

Guests viewed design vignettes sponsored by Dallas Market Center exhibitors, including: Ambella Home Collection, Ashore Inc., Contempo Designs, Cyan Design, Dallas Rugs, Designers Patio, DIMOND HOME, Elegant Lighting, Global Views, MEXPORTS, Studio A Home, Sunnyland Outdoor Furniture, SURYA, Taylors on Ten and Verona Prive Maison. MDAN Audio Visuals provided audio and visuals, centerpieces by Botanical Mix, gift bags donated by Accent Décor and food provided by Levy Restaurants.
