NY NOW spotlights creativity and innovation across home, lifestyle and handmade

Beginning this weekend at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, NY NOW gives buyers and shop owners the opportunity to discover amazing finds from around the world. Featuring staggered show hours starting Saturday, February 3rd through Wednesday, February 7th, NY NOW will bring together more than 2,300 premier established and emerging brands that will feature tens of thousands of design-driven products across hundreds of diverse product categories.

“The caliber and uniqueness of products at NY NOW are second to none. Presenting a collection of brands that offer something new for buyers each season is paramount to what NY NOW is all about,” said Randi Mohr, NY NOW Show Director and Emerald Expositions Vice President. “Nearly 40 percent of our exhibitors will be exhibiting exclusively at NY NOW this season. Additionally, nearly 65 percent of this February’s exhibitors will be launching products exclusively at NY NOW this winter.”

As buyers browse the market floor, they will have the opportunity to discover exciting on-trend products in every category including home decor and furnishings, children’s toys and pet products; floral & garden accessories; jewelry; tabletop and housewares; stationery; as well as personal care and accessories for men; women and children; and more.

NY NOW’s HOME Collection will focus on furnishings and home textiles, interior decor, tabletop and gourmet housewares and contemporary design objects. The LIFESTYLE Collection will feature the latest trend driven gifts in four themed sections including Baby + Child, Gift, Personal Accessories and Personal Care + Wellness. Finally, as the industry’s hallmark of design and craftsmanship, the HANDMADE Collection presents three distinct sections – Handmade® Designer Maker, Handmade® Global Design, and Artisan Resource® – offering handcrafted merchandise in categories such as tabletop, ceramics, textiles, home decor, jewelry, apparel and more.

Additionally, throughout the market, buyers who want to bring a global touch to their stores or shops will find the most intriguing designs from 445 international exhibitors across 45 different countries and spanning six continents. Exhibitors will showcase authentic designs, from traditional to modern, in categories including gift, home furnishings and decor, textiles, tabletop, stationery, jewelry, apparel and fashion accessories, and more.

NY NOW will continue its tradition of spotlighting the newest creations to the industry as well as those that are environmentally-conscious through two distinct display areas located directly on the Market floor. Curated by industry experts, NY NOW’s themed exhibits showcase the very best in gift and home products, in exceptionally merchandised vignettes. The sustainability: design for a better world® display (located in booth #2772, Level 3) will showcase global home and lifestyle suppliers, products, production processes and business practices from around the world that are eco-friendly and socially responsible. The destination:new display (located in booth #2572, Level 3) will feature more than 100 products that are new to the marketplace as of September 1, 2017. Of the products typically selected for the display, many will be debuting exclusively at NY NOW’s winter 2018 market, making this a must-see exhibit for any NY NOW attendee looking for the freshest designs.

From seminars, to book-signings and more, NY NOW offers many ways for buyers to grow their business while at NY NOW while also taking in some entertainment and special events.
