Kurt S. Adler, Kangaroo and Koala Ornaments By Debbie Eisele

A portion of the proceeds of these products will be donated to the WIRES Wildlife Rescue Organization.

The Australian wildfires have been devastating. Billions of animals were killed, humans have died and been injured and the loss of natural habitats and homes is unfathomable. In the face of such a terrible tragedy not only to humans, but to wildlife, it is amazing to see organizations and people enact outreach efforts and that have gone out of the way to make a positive difference, like Kurt S. Adler has done. In an interview, Jamie Adler from Kurt S. Adler discussed more about the initiative.

Company Mission

Our goal is to be the holiday décor leader and maintain a strong presence in the retail environment so that we may continue to have the privilege of helping create beautiful memories for generations to come.

How do your products serve the mission?

As a leader in the industry, we at Kurt S. Adler, Inc. take great pride in setting certain standards and creating a positive and lasting impact. When we added the new kangaroo and koala ornaments to the line this year, we knew we wanted a portion of the proceeds to be  donated to the WIRES Wildlife Rescue Organization. WIRES has been rescuing and caring for wildlife for over 30 years and is the largest wildlife rescue organization in Australia. These horrific fires have destroyed countless homes and habitats, and we felt it was essential that we help in any way possible. When customers buy these ornaments, they should feel positive knowing that they are both donating to a great cause, and gaining a tangible memory of their generous donation. The beautiful ornaments can also spark conversation among family and friends during the holiday season and spread awareness.

What are the plans for the future?

We plan to continue to add more products with purpose in the future, as we’ve done for years. This year alone we have added three different causes and have raised thousands of dollars for charity. We are very passionate about giving back and hope to inspire others to do so as well.

How can retailers get involved?

Retailers can get involved by purchasing these products and supporting our cause. We would also encourage them to donate a portion of their sales to WIRES as well. We hope this both raises awareness and funds to help these animals thrive once again.
