Sorority & Sisterhood founders launch Weekend Whimsies

Sorority & Sisterhood, the woman-owned pajama brand known for its hand-illustrated, heirloom-quality sleepwear, announced the official launch of Weekend Whimsies — a new lifestyle brand born from the same founding team, the same signature 95% bamboo fabric and the same commitment to designs worth keeping forever.

Where Sorority & Sisterhood was built to celebrate the bonds of Greek life, Weekend Whimsies was created for every other reason women gather, gift and celebrate. The brand’s debut collections span gameday, bridal, birthdays, mahjong, Mardi Gras, garden party and beyond — all rooted in the belief that the best moments in life deserve something beautiful to wear.

“We’ve always said sisterhood is bigger than any one chapter,” said co-founder Kaitlin Fontenot. “Weekend Whimsies is for your bride tribe, your mahjong girls, your tailgate and gameday crew — the women who show up for every season of your life.”

All Weekend Whimsies designs are hand-illustrated in-house by co-founder and designer Elise Colomb, carrying forward the signature IYKYK aesthetic the brand’s loyal customers have come to love: no loud logos, no obvious labels, just beautifully crafted pieces that speak for themselves.

Two brands. One standard.

Going forward, Sorority & Sisterhood will remain dedicated exclusively to sorority life and chapter milestones, while Weekend Whimsies will serve as the home for all lifestyle and occasion-based collections. Both brands share the same founding trio — Kaitlin, Virginia, and Elise — and the same uncompromising approach to quality and design.

Weekend Whimsies launches with a full product assortment including pajama sets, silk scarflettes, acrylic trays with swappable magnetic inserts, cosmetic bags and towel wraps with four additional collections dropping throughout 2026.

Now available in wholesale showrooms

Weekend Whimsies is available to wholesale buyers through the brand’s permanent showroom presence at two of the country’s premier gift markets: the Dallas World Trade Center (Goetz, Floor 2) and Atlanta AmericasMart (Road Runners, Building 2, Floor 15). Retail buyers are invited to connect with the team at either location to preview the full collection.

“Having a home in both Dallas and Atlanta means we can truly meet our wholesale partners where they are,” said co-founder Virginia Brown. “We’re so proud to bring Weekend Whimsies into these showrooms and introduce it to the boutique community.”
