After 25 years in the salon business, the husband-wife team, Ginger and Peter Evans, has created what has become one of the country’s premier beauty emporiums. Located on Charleston’s busiest shopping street, Stella Nova Esthetique is an offshoot of the duo’s successful Stella Nova spa. The 3,000-square foot retail store holds a mind-boggling collection of top beauty and skincare products from around the world, as well as its own signature line. Staff is knowledgeable about three large roomfuls of inventory; two rooms also house professional make-up stations. Pink walls underscore the shop’s appeal with women, but men stop in for hair care products. An online shop complements the Evans’ bricks-and-mortar store.
