Fall 2008
Best Sellers in Nashville, TN By Kami Rice

AshBlue

Susannah and Zulu Scott-Barnes opened AshBlue in 2003. In late summer 2008 they moved from their first cozy two-story shop to a new location in Nashville’s high-end Green Hills retail area in order to invite more walk-in traffic and have more space for furniture and jewelry products. Zulu, a professional polo player, hails from South Africa, so trips back to visit family provide opportunities for discovering new AshBlue products created by African artisans. His heritage combined with his wide travels has led to a shop full of eclectic, quality items. From real wood furniture to lamps made from fishing baskets, the inviting shop abounds with unique, high-end items for the home. Brides often take advantage of the shop’s gift registry.
