Summer 2010
Best Sellers in Outer Banks, NC By Eric Wallace

With over 130 miles of shoreline, the world’s largest estuary system, and an amazing diversity of migratory and indigenous wildlife, it’s no wonder North Carolina’s Outer Banks have blossomed into one of the nation’s most beloved vacation spots.

Each year, thousands of vacationing families make their way here. From April to October, people can be seen climbing the sandy slopes of Jockey’s Ridge or lounging along the miles of beach from Corolla to Hatteras.

The casual, relaxed atmosphere of the Outer Banks makes the location a hotspot for unique restaurants, boutiques, and shops. Visitors stop by the many fine gift shops along the shore. Here’s a look at what’s selling in some of them.
