Best Sellers in Park City, Utah By The Cisneros

Southwest Indian Traders

Many things Indian and Southwest are found at this 22-year-old galleria of wonderful Old West merchandise. Raette Belcher, the original and only owner of Southwest Indian Traders, says she opened the store in 1989 as a little gift shop. That “little gift shop” is now a large emporium filled with Southwestern paraphernalia—hats and moccasins for the whole family; turquoise jewelry pieces; vintage skis, snowshoes, and ice skates; Native American and Mexican pottery, rugs, and blankets; Native American dolls; and mounted bear and deer heads.

The store not only captures the history of Park City, but it also transports the imagination back to a rugged and romantic age.
