Best Sellers in Stowe, Vermont By Theresa Sinclair

Peeper Sales

The iconic ridgeline of Mount Mansfield towers high over Stowe’s picturesque village making it one of the premier ski destinations in the Northeast. Stowe is famous for more than just snow however—there are four seasons of festivals, activities, and natural beauty to enjoy.

The sweet smell of maple fills the air every spring, and summers are cool and green with abundance.

But it is autumn’s sparkling colors that are the state’s crowning glory. Every October, buses of visiting “leaf peepers” take in Vermont’s fiery fall colors along winding scenic drives and peaceful hikes.

In recent years, Stowe has moved from being a quaint New England hamlet to upscale hotspot. With lots of shopping, dining, and activities year round, the town is a popular hangout for both locals and visitors alike.

Vermonters staunchly defend themselves as the origin of the “shop local” trend. Whether a company is producing ice cream or snowshoes if it is based in Vermont it will be blessed with a loyal consumer following.
