Best Sellers In The Hamptons, Long Island, NY By Diane Roncone

The Elegant Setting in Southampton

Founder Stephanie Finkelstein has a passion for entertaining. From relaxed bagel breakfasts to formal five-course dinners, she knows that the difference between a good party and a great one rests in the details: serving wine from a decanter in which it can properly breathe, arranging bread in just the right basket, and setting the table with china and flatware that add personality and sparkle. While it is true that Finkelstein wants her shop to exude elegance, another of her goals is to provide the same intimate shopping service that her grandmother enjoyed in days gone by—when all the clerks knew her, and called her when they saw something they knew she’d like. This charming 900-square-foot shop, located in Southampton, carries a highly selective rotating inventory of one-of-a kind crystal, china, silver, and linens, as well as a unique selection of vintage tabletop and gift items.
