Legacy

Mission: Legacy’s mission is to design and offer creative, low-cost, high-quality social expression products for consumers looking to simplify and add a touch of beauty to their lives. Legacy is committed to a globally responsible approach to business to ensure a better world for our families, employees and partners in the business community.

Products that give back: All greeting cards that retail for $2.99 or more, which accounts for 90 percent of the Legacy greeting card line for 2016.

How do the products serve the mission? For every $2.99 card sold, Legacy donates a portion of its gross profits to hunger relief organizations serving children and families in the U.S. and around the world. In doing so, Legacy hopes to help end hunger in the world and secure a better future for the least among us.

Plans for the future: Legacy plans to continue growing its greeting card line, offer new and different styles of cards, and broaden the appeal of its line so that it can further lessen the pains of hunger felt by so many and give hope to families struggling to make a better tomorrow for their children.

How can retailers get more involved? Simply by purchasing Legacy greeting cards a retailer can make a difference in a child’s life. In addition, by carrying at least 70 greeting card titles and joining Legacy’s Retailer Rewards Program, the retailer will get signage and marketing materials to help promote the fact that they are doing their part to feed hungry children and families. In turn, the retailer receives free freight on all of their everyday card purchases.
