Willow Tree is a “scent-sational” shop featuring custom-made bath-and-body products, soaps, perfumes and oils. Customers can choose bath gel, lotion, cream or other items in a variety of sizes and containers; select a favorite color; and then have their fragrance of choice added. There are more than 150 fragrances to choose from. The essential oils come in many varieties—including floral, tropical, fruit and designer-inspired (i.e. Chanel No. 5, Obsession)—with aromatic fusions blended upon customers’ requests. Because of the store’s unique fragrance blends and high-quality products featuring shea butter, co-owner Rick Sisco says, more than half of buyers are repeat customers—either in the store or through the website. Decorative oil warmers also seem to be exceedingly popular as home fragrance items, and many people are turning them into collections. “I have customers who buy every style we come out with,” Rick Sisco says.
