For anyone who knows of the Burlington Annex, the first word that comes to mind is “elegance.” Located in the heart of historic Branson, this is the second of two stained glass studios and gift emporiums owned and operated by artist and designer Suzy Aikman—the first is in Omaha, AR. The shop offers a wide selection of fine gifts and collectibles designed by talented artists around the world. However, the shop’s stained glass panels are undoubtedly the biggest attraction for visitors. “The stained glass has been the mainstay of our business for almost 30 years,” Aikman says. “We do a huge amount of custom designs for customers.” The shop also offers classes throughout the year for anyone interested in learning how to design stained glass pieces. And recently, Aikman has added a new line, her fused glass jewelry and fashion accessories named “Saik,” a play on her name, with great success.
