This crafts boutique in central Long Island features handmade items from 20 artisans, which make up about 70 percent of the store’s merchandise, according to co-owner Robin Nabel. She says that lately “people have been buying for themselves,” often because “they’re redecorating their homes after the winter.” Nabel and Debbie Arsen have owned the shop since 2001, both former bank tellers who enjoy hand-crafting gifts for family and friends.
