Shoppers can select from a wide array of New Age-style crystals and minerals, jewelry, artwork, handmade cards and other temptations. According to Anthony Macagnone, who owns the shop with his father, Anthony Sr., plants are great impulse items. “Many times, it’s an impulse buy,” he says. “People will see a plan in the pot and think it will make a great gift, maybe for a birthday, or for someone in the hospital.”
