The American Lighting Association will present several seminars in World Trade Center #345 during Market. Highlights include:

On Thursday, January 20 Keith Graeber (CLTC, UC Davis) and Mark McClear (Cree) will present two seminars. “Built to Last? LED Strengths and Limitations” will be presented from 9 a.m. to noon and “What to Look for in a Well-designed LED Luminaire” from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Dan Blitzer will present several seminars including:

“Lighting Regulations: How Upcoming Changes will Affect Your Business” on Friday, January 21 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. – The seminar will cover the impact of Federal regulation of lighting and what it can mean for business.

“Hands-On Lighting: Evaluating the Visual Impact of Lighting” on Friday, January 21 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. – Attendees will be involved in hands-on observation, measurement, and comparison of different light sources in a workshop format.

Finally, “Selling the Glitter and Glow: Romancing the Light and Lighting the Romance” on Saturday, January 22 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. – Blitzer will discuss the importance of prominent decorative lighting and how to communicate its beauty and value.
